Google Pixel 8 - Short Term Review

As a long time Android user I have tried out countless handsets over the years, at times sticking with the Google flagships but often dipping into Samsung and, for those that remember, HTC and LG variants. Over all these years one device in particular stood out above the rest to me, and, in my opnion, likely served as the spiritual ancestor to the Pixle 8, the Nexus 6p. 

I can't help but compare phones, both in design and feautres to that flaghship of of the past and now, after using the Pixel 8 for about two weeks, I think it's finally been beaten. 

I'll post a longer review down the line, but for now if you are looking for your next phone and are on the fence I can't reccomend the Pixel 8 enough. In my time with it the phone feels effertless to use, and it's camera seems to not be able to take a bad picture. Build quality feels top notch and the first party google case is stunning.
